Why We Built This Site
North Carolina makes many records available, but it does not place them in one all-purpose database. Alexander County court charges, events, judgments, and dispositions run through the Clerk of Superior Court and the statewide eCourts Portal. Sheriff and detention records come from the Thomas E. Bebber Sr. Law Enforcement Center. A person reviewing their own fingerprint-supported statewide history must use the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Right to Review process. State custody and supervision records use the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction search, and registry entries use the North Carolina Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry. We organize the verified contacts, official search routes, costs, and request steps for those separate custodians.

An official record must come from its custodian, such as the Alexander County Clerk, Sheriff, or North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
